Fantasy Manipe F1 2009 is go! [UPDATED]

Manipe F1 is delighted to announced the relaunching of Fantasy Manipe F1 for its second season. With just under three weeks to go before the 2009 F1 season gets underway in Australia, Fantasy Manipe F1 is now accepting teams from all users, with prizes of team merchandise up for grabs to the year's most successful owner.

As a team owner at Fantasy Manipe F1, you are given €100m to spend as you with on your selection of two drivers, a car and an engine, all of which will score points for you as the real drivers and teams travel the world and race for the Formula One World championship. With up to ten 'transfers' allowed per team, all owners have the chance to shake up their team in the search of the best driver/car/engine partnership.

At Fantasy Manipe F1, users are also allowed to create their own personal leagues, where they can put themselves directly against the friends, colleagues and rivals.

We would like to draw all Fantasy Manipe F1 users' attention to a minor change to the points-scoring system for 2009.

In addition to the previously confirmed points-scoring opportunities, the 'driver of the day' of each Grand Prix will receive an additional point. The driver of the day will be selected by Manipe F1, and will be based on a drivers' performance throughout a race weekend.
