Fri, 29 January, 2010Ferrari delay F10 debut until Monday

Poor weather conditions at Fiorano has forced Ferrari to delay the track debut of its 2010 challenger, the F10, until Monday having originally hoped to get it on-track yesterday. Following yesterday morning's launch, Massa was going to take the F10 for a run at Ferrari's home test track of Fiorano, but ice on the track forced the team to delay the debut.

Then this morning, the team confirmed the ice had not cleared sufficiently to allow Massa to run, meaning the Brazilian will hav eto wait until Monday in Valencia to sample the single-seater on-track.

Pre-season testing gets underway at the Spanish venue on February 1, with Massa driving for the first day, and team-mate Fernando Alonso driving for the final two days of the test.
