Welcome back to Budapest for the opening day of track action for this year's Hungarian Grand Prix. Although this morning's dawn was dull and overcast, conditions have brightened considerably ahead of first practice, with only scattered cloud covering the atmosphere. Temperatures are currently at 21°C, but that is due to rise to a high of 28°C later today, as the sun rises higher into the sky. However, the rain clouds could return before the end of the day as there is a 50% chance of precipitation. At the moment rain looks unlikely, but second practice could be affected. Looking ahead to tomorrow, Saturday, the rain clouds are expected to clear although skies will remain partly cloudy. Temperatures will hit a high of 30°C which could push the track temperature into the high 40s, making tyre handling difficult during qualifying. Finally to Sunday, when clear skies and constant sunshine are forecast from the early morning. Temperatures will again reach 30°C, likely to make the 70-lap race an even tougher prospect for the field of 24 drivers. | |||
