Red Bull on Friday announced minor changes to its technical team ahead of the upcoming 2009 season. Former head of race and test engineering Paul Monaghan will move to the role titled 'head of car engineering', a mainly factory-based job which will see him take charge of integrating the design, performance and reliability of the car into on-track performance.

Meanwhile, the role of head of race engineering will now be filled by Ian Morgan, former chief test engineer. He will be in charge of running all trackside operations at races and tests.
