Ferrari have this morning launched their 2009 challenger, named the F60 in celebration of their 60th year of competition in the Formula One World Championship. The F60 is the first of the 2009 cars to be unveiled, after being shown to the media in Mugello at 09.00 CET today. The car sports the standard narrow and higher rear wing, lower and wider front wing, cleaner bodywork and slick tyres, all of which are new for 2009. The F60 name breaks with the current tradition of car names, having used the F200X designation for seven of the last eight years. Runner-up in the 2008 drivers' championship Felipe Massa will take the F60 on its first laps at the Mugello circuit later today, with more news and pictures to follow.
