Fri, 12 June, 2009Williams pleased to have 2010 entry confirmed

Williams has declared itself pleased to have had its 2010 F1 entry confirmed by the FIA today, as the team looks to continue with its illustrious 42-year F1 history. Williams was one of only two current teams, along with Force India, to lodge an unconditional entry with the FIA for 2010, with the confirmation of both outfits on the 2010 entry list coming as no surprise.

In a short statment issued by the team following the release of the FIA's entry list, team principal Frank Williams said: “2010 will be my 42nd consecutive season in Formula One. We are already designing the main elements of next year's FW32 which will build on the useful step forward taken with the FW31.”
